Low-Light Operator/Trainer Course Level 1
Description
The purpose of the training class is to expose the student to the proper use of the flashlight and weapon in a low light environment, use of force techniques, force on force entry situations and building searching technique and threat identification. The Surefire Institute has been the leader in flashlight training and instructor development.

Equipment Required / Force-On-Force
- Groin protection
- Gloves
- Long-sleeved sweat suit, flight suit, or jump suit
- G2Z flashlight and V70 holder will be provided
- Lunch and hydration fluids of choice
Equipment Required / Live-Fire
- Pistol, duty belt and 300 rounds
- 10 rounds 12 gauge
- 20 rounds .223 factory
- Clear eye and ear protection
- Duty flashlight/holster will be provided
- 100 rounds of non-lethal marking cartridge and conversion kit for duty handgun
(Force on force safety equipment guns and ammuntion may be provided upon request for an additional $50.00)
(Shotguns and carbines will be provided for student familiarization. Ammunition may be provided on request)
